1. Services
Pound Ridge Appliance Repair provides appliance repair and maintenance services in Pound Ridge and surrounding areas. Our services include diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of household appliances.
2. Service Appointments
Scheduling
Appointments can be scheduled by phone or through our website. We will confirm your appointment time and provide an estimated arrival window.
Cancellation
We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.
Access Requirements
An adult (18 years or older) must be present during the service visit. You must provide clear access to the appliance requiring service.
3. Pricing and Payment
Diagnostic Fee
A diagnostic fee of $89 is charged for each service visit. This fee is waived if you proceed with our recommended repair.
Estimates
After diagnosis, we provide a written estimate for the repair. You must approve the estimate before work begins. Estimates are valid for 30 days.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash.
Price Changes
If additional issues are discovered during repair, we will inform you and provide an updated estimate before proceeding.
4. Warranty
Repair Warranty
All repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. This warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not extend to other components or issues.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Issues unrelated to the original repair
- Damage from power surges or natural disasters
- Normal wear and tear
- Repairs performed by others after our service
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, contact us at (914) 350-6776 with your service details. We will schedule a follow-up visit at no charge if the issue is covered.
5. Parts
We use genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts when available. Part availability may affect repair timelines. Replaced parts become our property unless otherwise agreed.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing conditions or damage
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Food spoilage (though we prioritize emergency refrigeration repairs)
- Loss of use of the appliance during repair
7. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the appliance and issue
- Ensure safe access to the appliance
- Inform us of any hazards or special conditions
- Follow maintenance recommendations
8. Disclaimer
We are an independent appliance repair service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sub-Zero Group, Inc., Wolf Appliance, Inc., Viking Range LLC, Thermador (BSH Home Appliances), Miele, Gaggenau, or any other manufacturer. All brand names, logos, and trademarks mentioned on this website are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
