What appliance brands do you service?
We specialize in premium appliance brands including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Gaggenau, Bosch, and KitchenAid. We also service most other major brands. Our technicians receive ongoing training specific to high-end appliances.
Do you offer same-day service?
Yes, we offer same-day service for most repairs when you call before noon. For refrigeration emergencies, we provide 24/7 response to prevent food loss. Same-day availability depends on technician schedules in your area.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Pound Ridge and surrounding communities within a 30 miles radius, including Bedford, Scarsdale, Greenwich CT, Chappaqua, Armonk, and other Westchester and Fairfield County areas.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule by calling (914) 350-6776 or booking online through our website. We offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends to accommodate your schedule.
Do I need to be home during the repair?
Yes, an adult (18+) must be present during the service call. This allows you to discuss the issue with the technician, approve any repairs, and ask questions about maintaining your appliance.
Pricing & Payment
How much does appliance repair cost?
Repair costs vary based on the appliance type, brand, and specific issue. We charge a $89 diagnostic fee, which is waived if you proceed with the repair. Most repairs range from $150-$600, with major component replacements potentially higher.
Do you provide estimates before starting work?
Absolutely. After diagnosing the issue, we provide a detailed written estimate before any repair work begins. You'll know exactly what's needed and the total cost, with no surprises.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, checks, and cash. Payment is due upon completion of the repair.
Is the diagnostic fee refundable?
The $89 diagnostic fee covers the technician's visit, inspection, and diagnosis. If you proceed with our recommended repair, this fee is credited toward your total bill. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable.
Repairs & Parts
Do you use genuine OEM parts?
Yes, we use genuine manufacturer-approved (OEM) parts for all repairs. This ensures optimal performance, maintains any existing warranty coverage, and provides the longest-lasting repair results.
What if you don't have the part needed?
We stock commonly needed parts for major brands. If a special part is required, we can typically obtain it within 1-3 business days. We'll provide an accurate timeline and schedule the return visit.
Can you repair older appliances?
Yes, we can repair most appliances regardless of age, as long as replacement parts are available. Premium brands like Sub-Zero maintain parts availability for many years, making older units very repairable.
What if my appliance can't be repaired?
If repair isn't possible or cost-effective, we'll explain why and can recommend replacement options. You'll only pay the diagnostic fee if no repair is performed.
Warranty & Guarantees
What warranty do you offer on repairs?
All repairs include a 90-day warranty covering both parts and labor. If the same issue recurs within 90 days, we'll fix it at no additional cost.
Will your repair void my appliance warranty?
Our repairs using genuine OEM parts will not void your manufacturer warranty. In fact, using non-OEM parts or unqualified technicians could void your warranty, which is why we always use approved parts.
What if I'm not satisfied with the repair?
We stand behind our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, contact us and we'll make it right.
Emergency Services
Do you handle refrigerator emergencies?
Yes, we provide 24/7 emergency service for refrigeration failures. A non-working refrigerator can result in hundreds of dollars of spoiled food, so we respond quickly to minimize your loss.
Is there an extra charge for emergency service?
Emergency calls outside normal business hours may have a slightly higher service fee. We'll inform you of any additional charges when you call.
What qualifies as an emergency?
Refrigerator or freezer not cooling, active water leaks, gas smell from appliances, or any situation that poses immediate risk to property or safety qualifies for emergency response.
